Portugal continues to stand out as a prestigious destination, ideal for five-star vacations. It has just been classified as one of the ten best luxury destinations in the world according to the renowned publication Condé Nast. United Kingdom, Spain Italy, Portugal France, Greece, Ireland, Croatia, the United States and the Caribbean make up the list of 10 destinations that will receive predominantly luxury tourists. The vote was conducted with the participation of 63,000 respondents.
One of the information revealed by the study is that 38% of these luxury travelers intend to spend up to eight thousand euros per person on their vacation. This highlights the willingness of these tourists to invest in exclusive and high standard experiences during their stay in the country. The preferred month to enjoy rest days is September, soon followed by May and June. And the main preferences of the respondents were for country and mountain destinations, in addition to cruises. Another conclusion of the study is that tourists over 55 years old are the ones who will take the most vacations this year (61%), followed by those between 35 and 54 years old (32%).
